Privacy Policy

February 2025:

The short version: We’re not doing anything weird with your data. We’re a small curation site, not a surveillance corporation.

Who we are

PocketPixels is an independent media site. We find cool things on the internet and write about them. That’s it. We are not Meta.

What data we collect

If you subscribe to the newsletter, we collect your email address. Revolutionary stuff. We store it, we use it to send you the newsletter, we don’t sell it to anyone because frankly that sounds like a lot of admin work and we have articles to write.

If you leave a comment, WordPress stores your name, email, and whatever unhinged opinion you decided to share publicly.

We also use basic analytics to see how many people visit the site. We see numbers. Not you specifically. You’re safe.

Cookies

Yes, the site uses cookies. No, not the good kind. Standard WordPress cookies that handle basic site functionality. You can block them in your browser but some things might break and we accept no emotional responsibility for that.

Third parties

We don’t share your data with third parties. We barely share our WiFi password.

Your rights

You can ask us to delete your data at any time. Email us, say the word, done. No questions, no guilt trip, no “are you sure?” popups.

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy we’ll update the date at the top. Nobody reads these anyway but legally we have to say that.
